Trust & Transparency
The short version: don't take our word for anything below that you can check yourself. Where a number is still a placeholder, we say so — the moment real projects go live, this page updates with real, independently checkable data.
Track record

Every credit, traceable
Once a purchase is real, this is what you'll be able to check independently for every single credit sold:
- The registry it came from (Verra, Gold Standard, Puro.earth, or similar) and a direct link to the public retirement record
- The project's vintage year and methodology
- Its ICVCM Core Carbon Principles label status, if assessed
- Any third-party rating (Sylvera, BeZero, Calyx Global) it carries
Right now, our 3 listed projects are clearly marked example placeholders and are not purchasable — so there is intentionally no registry link to show yet. We'd rather show nothing than show something that looks like proof and isn't.
External references, not just our word
We'd rather point you at the people actually setting standards for this market than ask you to trust our summary of them:
- ICVCM — Core Carbon Principles, the closest thing this market has to a quality bar
- Verra Registry and Gold Standard Registry — where real credits on this platform will be retired
- Sylvera and BeZero Carbon — independent credit rating agencies
- Carbon Market Watch — an independent watchdog that is openly critical of this industry, including of registries we use. We link them on purpose.
- AFM (Dutch financial markets authority) and ACM (Dutch consumer & markets authority) — regulators actively shaping rules for claims like ours
Our own limitations, stated plainly
We are three example projects and a working-draft legal footing. See understanding the risks and how we score projects for the parts of this we don't get to skip.
